Cases in Castilla-La Mancha rise slightly to 1.888 and there are 4 deaths since Tuesday

The Government of Castilla-La Mancha, through the General Directorate of Public Health, has confirmed 1.888 new cases of coronavirus infection in the last 72 hours, as well as four deaths.

Thus, on Tuesday 591 cases were registered, on Wednesday 702 and on Thursday 595, as reported by the Board in a press release. By provinces, Ciudad Real has registered 684 cases, Toledo 560, Albacete 264, Guadalajara 195 and Cuenca 185.

The cumulative number of cases since the start of the pandemic is 484.147. In the provinces, Toledo registers 161.936 cases, Ciudad Real 118.704, Albacete 88.135, Guadalajara 67.358 and Cuenca 48.014.

The number of people hospitalized in a conventional bed due to Covid-19 is 118. By province, Ciudad Real has 36 of these patients (16 in the Ciudad Real Hospital, 8 in the Mancha Centro Hospital, 5 in the Tomelloso Hospital, 3 in the Manzanares Hospital, 3 in Puertollano Hospital and 1 in Valdepeñas Hospital), Toledo 36 (17 in Toledo Hospital, 14 in Talavera de la Reina Hospital and 5 in National Hospital for Paraplegics), Albacete 25 (18 in Hospital de Albacete, 6 in the Villarrobledo Hospital and 1 in the Hellín Hospital), Guadalajara 18 (all those admitted to the Guadalajara Hospital) and Cuenca 3 (all those admitted to the Cuenca Hospital).

There are 9 patients admitted to the Intensive Care Units who need a respirator. By province, Albacete has 4 of these patients, Guadalajara 3, Ciudad Real 1 and Toledo 1.

In the last 72 hours, there have been 4 deaths from Covid-19 in Castilla-La Mancha, 1 in the province of Albacete, 1 in Ciudad Real, 1 in Guadalajara and 1 in Toledo.

The accumulated number of deaths since the start of the pandemic is 6.935. By provinces, Toledo registers 2.659 deaths, Ciudad Real 1.887, Albacete 1.028, Guadalajara 721 and Cuenca 640.

A total of 48 social health centers in Castilla-La Mancha have confirmed positive cases of coronavirus among residents. Specifically, 14 in the province of Toledo, 14 in Ciudad Real, 9 in Guadalajara, 6 in Albacete and 5 in Cuenca. Confirmed cases among residents are 731.

The accumulated deaths of residents of these centers since the start of the pandemic are 2.305.
