Castilla-La Mancha registered 947 more unemployed in February and accumulates 149.919 unemployed

The number of people registered in the offices of the public employment services (former Inem) in Castilla-La Mancha was located at the end of last February at 149.919, after suffering in 947 employees, a percentage increase of 0,64%, according to data from the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy published this Wednesday.

Compared to the same month last year, unemployment fell by 45.071 unemployed in the Autonomous Community, which is 23,11% less.

At the national level, the number of unemployed registered in the offices of the public employment services (former Inem) fell by 11.394 exits in February (-0,3%), its best rise in this month since 2015, when unemployment fell by 13.538 people.

Unemployment was suffered in three provinces –Cuenca, Guadalajara and Toledo– and fell in the other two –Albacete and Ciudad Real–.

Thus, in Albacete the second month of the year ended with 204 fewer unemployed (-0,71%) to 28.652 and Ciudad Real closed January with 41.231 unemployed, subtracting 60 (-0,15%).

The province of Cuenca had 276 more empty homes (2,6%) and a total of 10.908 unemployed and Guadalajara added 472 (3,27%) reaching 14.911. The province of Toledo closed last month with 463 more unemployed people (0,86%) and 54.217 unemployed in total.

By sex and age, in Albacete, of the 28.652 unemployed, 10.052 are men and 18.600 women. Of the total, 1.822 are under 25 years of age, of whom 895 are men and 927 women.

In the province of Ciudad Real there are 41.231 active people, 14.610 men and 26.621 young people, more than in the youth sector the total sum is 2.795, with a distribution of 1.340 men and 1.455 young people.

On the other hand, of the 10,908 unemployed in the province of Cuenca, 4,272 are men and 6,636 women, of whom 678 have not yet reached the age of 25. In this case, there are 333 men and 345 women.

Of the 14.911 unemployed in Guadalajara, 5.737 are men and 9.174 women. The distribution of the 934 unemployed under 25 years of age is 486 men and 448 women.

In the province of Toledo, a total of 54.217 unemployed, 19.319 are men and 34.898 women. Among young people under 25 years of age, there are a total of 3,297 unemployed, of which 1,663 are men and 1,634 women.

Sectors

By sectors, in the province of Albacete, unemployment increased in the Agriculture sector by 112 people and fell in Industry by 19 people, in Construction by 31 people, in Services by 47 people and in the group without previous employment. in 219 people.

In Ciudad Real, for its part, unemployment fell by 99 people in the Construction sector, by 24 in Industry, by 50 in Services and by 357 in the group without previous employment, while it grew by 470 people in Agriculture.

In Cuenca, unemployment fell last month by 11 people in the Industry sector, by 27 in Construction and by 30 in the group without previous employment and decreased by 13 people in Agriculture and by 331 in Services.

From above, in the province of Guadalajara, it fell by 40 people in Construction and by 88 in the group without previous employment, while it increased by 1 person in Agriculture, 9 in Industry and 590 in Services.

In short, in the province of Toledo, 165 more unemployed in Agriculture and 798 in Services, but the number of employees fell by 56 in Industry, by 89 in the Construction sector and by 355 among those who make up the group Without Previous Employment .

Regarding contracting, in Castilla-La Mancha there were 53.778 contracts last month, 12.499 less than the previous monthly payment (18,86% less) and 504 less (-0,93%) compared to the same period a year ago .

Of those 53.778 contracts closed in the Autonomous Community, 10.566 were permanent and 43.212 temporary.
