According to the SEPE, the duration of the benefit is obtained by making a simple calculation that takes into account the quoted time during the last 6 years prior to the current unemployment situation. For the particular case of migrants who have returned to the country and those released from prison, the contributions that were made six years before the event are considered.

In the case of all those workers who have worked for less than a year, it is not possible to opt for the benefit, but for the unemployment benefit, which will be calculated according to the months of contributions and the personal situation of the applicant.

To calculate how much unemployment has accumulated, the regulatory base and what has quoted the company by the worker during the last 6 months. This amount can be obtained directly from the payroll information. Now, divide the amount of money that the company quoted in your name by 180 days and divide this result again by 30.
