The legal advice of new works of the Administrative City of Ciudad Real for 33,6 million

The Government of Castilla-La Mancha has once again put out to tender the integral rehabilitation works of the old 'El Carmen' hospital for its conversion into the Ciudad Real Administrative City, increasing its cost to 33,6 million euros, after having The previous bidding process has been void.

This project is a commitment that President Emiliano García-Page has assumed with the province of Ciudad Real and especially with the capital of the Ciudad Real 2025 Modernization Plan, which receives a string of actions for an import of 103 million euros. Its main purpose is to locate all the administrative services offered by the Board in the city, currently dispersed, in a single building.

Specifically, the file on the comprehensive rehabilitation works of the old 'El Carmen' hospital to house the administrative building for multiple provincial services of the Junta and southern urbanization outside has been sent for publication in the Official Journal of the European Union and, subsequently, in the Public Sector Contracting Platform.

The companies will have until March 24 at 14.00:XNUMX p.m. to present their offers.

This contract, which has been authorized by the Ministry of Finance and Public Administrations and which includes all possible measures in terms of energy efficiency, will be co-financed with funds from the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism (MRR), charged to the Rehabilitation Program of Public Buildings (PIREP), which is part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR).

It is worth noting the importance of the implementation of the Ciudad Real Administrative City for three reasons: for its purpose, since all the administrative services of the regional government will be located in the same space; due to its complexity, since it will require a comprehensive rehabilitation of the property; and for its amount, it is that the integral rehabilitation of this building, which is the largest segment of Ciudad Real after the General University Hospital.

This action has three objectives: to facilitate citizens' access to the regional Administration, so that they can carry out all their procedures and procedures in one place, saving time and travel; modernize the infrastructures to provide service to the staff that the Board has in this locality, which will result in greater efficiency in management; and generate an economic boost in this area of ​​the urban center.

The new building, which will function as a single window, will have more than 24.000 square meters of built area for administrative use, which will house 1.129 employees from the eight provincial directorates of the Board in Ciudad Real, and 1.200 people will pass through its facilities daily to carry out their procedures with the regional Administration.
