On February 24, 2023, the Meeting on local practice in public employment and contracting will be held at the Consell Jurídic Consultiu of the Valencian Community, convened by the Consell Jurídic Consultiu and the Association of Lawyers of Local Entities (ALEL) in collaboration with the THE LAW.
The main objective of this appointment is to analyze the most problematic matters for public administrations but especially local entities, such as, on the one hand, the selection processes (public employment), public contracting, with the study of the minor contract.
The conference will also include the presentation of the book Administrative Practice of Local Content, by ALEL, coordinated by Ana María Barrachina Andrés and Francisco Javier Durán García, edited by LA LEY, of unquestionable technical value for all those professionals who are dedicated to the practice of law. but especially for the legal advice of local entities.
After the inauguration of the Congress by the Senior Legal Counsel of the Valencian Community, Patricia Boix Maño and the President of ALEL and President of the Economic-Administrative Court of Zaragoza, Jesús Mª Royo Crespo, there will be 4 sessions and round tables in which some of the most burning problems in public administrations will be analyzed.

Association of Lawyers of Local Entities. ALEL has in its main purpose that of mainner and favoring the figure of the Lawyer as a public official, as well as the defense of the interests that are his own before any instance. Also to facilitate the communication and relationship between the lawyers of the different local entities and contribute to a better knowledge of the Spanish and European Union legal system, with special reference to the local sphere. For compliance with its fines, the Association develops courses, symposia, seminars and conferences related to the application of Law in the different Local Corporations and their operation.
