Last Friday, Luis Lorenzo and Arancha Palomino were released on bail after being accused of allegedly poisoning her aunt. Since then, nothing has been known about the couple who will have to go weekly to the Arganda del Rey courthouse and who will not be able to leave Spanish territory. As ABC has learned exclusively, Luis and Arantxa could be working on the alibi that could exonerate them from all responsibility in the face of the violent death of the octogenarian.

On May 11, 2021, just a month before the fatal poisoning, María Isabel Suárez contracted the services of a company dedicated to a charge of the elderly with the aim that they be cared for, from Monday to Sunday, internally.

As stated in the document held by ABC, the effective monthly contract subscription is 1.285,81 euros (VAT included). The contract, provided with 5 clauses, includes the contracting conditions and the replacement guarantees and the relationship between the client and the worker.

Signed with a simple signature, it could be his own or that of his niece, since his lawyer Francisco Pérez explained, in 'Viva la Vida', that he had power that allowed him to act on his behalf, and even carry out alleged transactions between current accounts.

The decision to contract the specific services of the aforementioned company is surprising because in April of this same year an episode took place that outlined the profile of the relationship between those involved in this disastrous plot. As Mr. denounced before the Rivas Vaciamadrid police, Isabel spent twelve hours in an H2Ocio restaurant dazed and disoriented while her family enjoyed a day at the Warner. According to this testimony, Isabel's niece voluntarily neglected her until she was required by the restaurant workers, who claim they were insulted and threatened.

The investigation continues. Last week they gave a statement, before the command of the Civil Guard, friends and relatives, who offered specific information about both investigated, as this newspaper also told exclusively. One of the most significant was the alleged confession of Luis Lorenzo after the death of the old woman: "The aunt has already died, we can now buy the house."

After going to court, ABC was able to confirm that the presenter refused to testify while Arancha Palomino did answer the questions asked, denying any connection with the alleged murder. In his statement, no one defends his innocence more categorically, but asserted that he has always tried to familiarize himself carefully, even in the most tense moments, since he slipped that the octogenarian suffered from mental problems that complicated coexistence.
