When he saw the images, he took justice into his own hands. An apartment building in Kiev was partially destroyed by a Russian cruiser mistle. And that missile could have been built by his boss, the owner of a mega yacht docked in the exclusive Port Adriano marina, in the Majorcan town of Calvià.

So he went to the engine room and opened the bottom valves so that the boat gradually filled with water. Before leaving the ship, he told some fellow crew members, also Ukrainians. It was the way to take revenge on her, although the quick intervention of other ship workers and Port Adriano employees prevented the Lady Anastasia from ending up at the bottom of the sea.

However, it has suffered considerable damage, although it is not noticeable to the naked eye.

The Ukrainian sailor acknowledged all the facts in his statement at the guard court, after being arrested for sabotaging the ship, owned by a Russian tycoon dedicated to the manufacture of weapons. The suspect has admitted that he wanted revenge on his boss, Alexander Mijeev, after the recent invasion of his country by Russian troops.

Opened bottom valves

According to the newspaper Última Hora, the events took place last Saturday in Port Adriano (Calvià), one of the most exclusive yacht marinas on the island. The Ukrainian citizen saw the images of a residential building in Kiev half collapsed by a Russian missile and decided to sabotage the Lady Anastasia, a 47 meter long mega yacht where he had been working for seven years.

The detainee has confessed the facts and has been released with charges after giving a statement in the custody court. Apparently, this Ukrainian citizen insisted that his boss is a "criminal" who sells weapons with which the Russian army "kills" his compatriots. Mijeev is the general director of Rosoboronexport, a company owned by the Russian state corporation Rostec, which is engaged in the export of military equipment. Recently, in October 2021, he organized a weapons exhibition at the International Exhibition of Technologies for Defense, organized in Lima, Peru.

The yacht affected by the sabotage is one of the largest in Port Adriano. Built in 2001 and remodeled several times, it was valued at one million euros, lasted five years and was able to accommodate a decade of guests. These types of luxury boats are in the crosshairs of the European Union, which is studying, intervening in some way, the assets of the big businessmen connected to the government of Vladimir Putin and which, in one way or another, supports the invasion of Ukraine. .
