The V Red Cross Social Trophy 2022, organized by the Real Club Marítimo del Abra-Real Sporting Club, concluded in the waters of the Abra with the tests of the third day for the J80 monodesigns and for the Regatta and Cruise class boats. It was a day with many showers, calm and wind from all sides that prevented the Committee from completing the planned script. In the Division Regatta, he prevailed in the general classification, after also winning the last nine-mile test, Alfonso Churruca's Alpega, with Javier Chávarri's Rat Pack in second position. Third in the final classification was Gaitero, Maitena fourth, Akelarre fifth, Symphony sixth and Disheveled ranked seventh, with Modark eighth. In addition, in the Crucero I class, Simón Cortés' Turi ceded the lead on this third day to Javier Trueba's Nexus -both with 4 points and victory for Nexus for their first position in the six-mile course-, while Kribi finished third and the fourth bacillus. For his part, Juan Carlos Estefanía's Kohen led the Crucero II class, in which Lucio Fernández's Emilu finished second, Iñigo Aldea's Blai third and Jairo López de Guevara's Ramper fourth overall.

Already among the J80 monotypes, the best in the global calculation was the Fhimasa Escuela de Vela José Luis de Ugarte of Tomás Trueba, junior world champion boarding in Denmark and the United States. The boat of the youngsters of the School of the Real Club Marítimo of the Abra-Real Sporting Club finished with 12 points, for the 14 of the Kiwi of Félix Moneo -winner of the only route of the last day-, and the 20 points of the Jet Set of Ibón Basañez, third. After the first three, Hib Brut, Mandovi DalecandELA, Obelix, Biobizz, Pilgrim, Fingolfin, Ausart and Wilco qualified. Now, everyone is waiting for the traditional and massive Regata del Gallo on December 17.
