The brothers and devotees of Santo Cristo de la Esperanza in the Segovian neighborhood of Santa Eulalia returned yesterday to see this image procession through the streets of Segovia, after two years of waiting, on the occasion of the Procession and Prayer of the Five Mysteries, one of the Holy Tuesday religious acts. A large group of people waited at the gates of the parish church of Santa Eulalia to see the way out with the effort and devotion of their Squad of Costaleros, formed ten years ago.
The Procession of the Five Mysteries, so called because its journey lasts the five painful mysteries of the holy rosary are prayed, has been celebrated since 2004 by the Brotherhood of Our Lady La Soledad Dolorosa Brotherhood of Recollection.
