Junqueras believes that the ANC demonstration "goes against many independentists"

The controversy between Esquerra and the ANC continues. Oriol Junqueras lamented that the demonstration organized by the entity for the Diada of September 11 "goes against many independentistas". The leader of the Govern party has not clarified whether or not he will attend the call, but he has wanted it to "go as well as possible", and has advocated an inclusive, inclusive and comprehensive independence movement like the one that ERC defends in his opinion.

In an interview for Cadena Ser, Junqueras has acknowledged that the guest will participate and that the independence movement "was inclusive" throughout the environment, also in the demonstrations in the street. Likewise, he has affirmed that the Republicans are "the majority independence movement" at least in the elections of the Parliament, Congress of Deputies and Senate and the party that obtains "the best results" in the municipal ones.

This is a statement in line with the decision made by Pere Aragonès, not to attend the demonstration "to be against the independentistas". Given the controversy that these statements aroused, the Prime Minister clarified on Monday that he would "always" be there where positive ideas can be defended "in an inclusive and plural manner."

He also stressed that he participated in acts, in addition to the institutional ones, that are "to add positively and constructively" knowing that there are diverse positions within the independence movement.

More criticism in the ANC

The former president of the Generalitat, Artur Mas, has added to the reproach against the ANC, which he has accused this Tuesday of "radicalizing" his speech against the parties, alleging that without them independence cannot be achieved.

In an interview for Catalunya Ràdio, Mas, who will not be able to attend the Diada demonstration for family reasons, recalled that as president of the Generalitat he did not attend either "to preserve the institutional meaning of the presidency of the Generalitat, and not because of the explanation that is being given at this time.” When asked if he agrees that the demonstration called by the ANC is against a part of the independence movement, he has assured that he does not believe that he is the reason "to go or not go" to the march.

On the other hand, although I respect that Junts sees leaving the Government as a real option, he has stressed that he would not agree with it: who would not believe?

Although it means that Junts is sued in relation to the government agreement with ERC because he considered that "there are things that are not being fulfilled", he is not in favor of it being solved with his departure from the Catalan Executive.
