Second digital meeting on transparency and financial education sponsored by ASNEF with the collaboration of Wolters Kluwer, which, on this occasion, will be dedicated to transparency as an unavoidable requirement for the sustainability of the financial system and without which the development of any activity cannot be conceived business.

In the round table organized for the occasion, the following topics will be addressed, among others:

• Transparency, an essential element in financing.

• The evolution of the concept of transparency and its reflection in regulations and jurisprudence. Does it apply retroactively?

• The qualification of usury and the current reality in light of the jurisprudence of the Supreme Court. Consequences

• How a usurious interest rate should be classified: The normal rate of money and the determination of the maximum margin (limits) of tolerance

• The treatment of usury in neighboring countries.

We will have a panel of top-level experts: Francisco Javier Orduña (Professor of Civil Law at the University of Valencia and former Judge of the First Chamber of the Supreme Court), Jesús Sánchez (Dean of the Illustrious Bar Association of Barcelona and founding partner of the law firm of lawyers Zahonero & Sanchez) and Ignacio Redondo (Executive Director of the Legal Department of CaixaBank and State Lawyer on leave of absence).
