Two investigated for circulating in check with people with the body outside the vehicle

The Civil Guard has investigated two individuals for reckless driving in the town of Garcibuey (Salamanca) when driving with people with the body outside the vehicle.

As reported to the Government Subdelegation, researchers from the GIAT Team (Group of Investigation and Traffic Analysis) of the Traffic Subsector of the Civil Guard of Salamanca, detected several videos on social networks in which reckless behavior was observed when a caravan of vehicles circulating along the highway that goes from Béjar to Ciudad Rodrigo (Salamanca).

One of those investigated was driving with an infant sitting on his lap without any restraint system, dangerously limiting his freedom of movement, and with another minor between the front seats, all while the co-pilot was sitting on the window outside the vehicle without any security measure, with the danger to the integrity of people that this caused.

The other investigated passed the caravan of vehicles in a curve of reduced visibility with an adult sitting on the window outside the vehicle, adds the information.

The events took place on September 17 on the SA-220 road (Béjar - Ciudad Rodrigo), when a caravan of vehicles was going to accompany the truck on a pilgrimage that was going to look for the bull that that same afternoon would be fought with the motivation of the festivities of the town of Garcibuey (Salamanca).

The Civil Guard has also made several complaints to the drivers of other vehicles participating in the caravan for reckless driving and several occupants for not using the seat belt.

Proceedings have already been instructed on the correspondents, with the investigation of the two individuals, which have been sent to the Béjar Guard Court, as well as administrative complaints from the correspondents that have been sent to the Provincial Traffic Headquarters of Salamanca.

The Benemérita recalls the importance of complying with traffic regulations, since behaviors such as those exposed here endanger the lives and physical integrity of drivers and road users.
