This is 'Fire', the film by Claire Denis with Juliette Binoche that will premiere at the San Sebastian Festival

Opening in Spanish cinemas next Friday, September 30, 'Fuego', the new feature film by French filmmaker Claire Denis ('High Life'), also the screenwriter of the novel 'A turning point in life' (2018), by Christine Angot, with whom he began working on said adaptation during confinement. In fact, it is her second collaboration after 'Un sol interior' (2017).

The actors Juliette Binoche, a regular in Denis' filmography, and Vincent Lindon are the protagonists of this film about a love triangle between a woman, her partner of ten years and her former best friend (Gregoire Colin), who also happens to be show it Among the cast is Hana Magimel (22), daughter of Binoche and fellow actor Benoît Magimel.

This is the premise: “When they met, Sara was living with François, Jean's best friend. Now, Jean and Sara love each other and have been living together for 10 years. At the same time, François gets back in touch with Jean for the first time in years and offers to work together again. From that moment, everything loses control.

With 'Fire', Claire Denis (who presented another film at Cannes, 'Stars at Noon') won the silver bear for best director at the Berlinale. Before its commercial release in theaters, it will be screened at the San Sebastián Film Festival, where Juliette Binoche will also be awarded the Donostia Award. The 'premiere' will be on September 18.
