The 11st call for aid 'Juan Carlos Izpisúa' of Albacete will support XNUMX research projects

As has been explained, this line enters directly with the firm will of the provincial president to, as far as possible, contribute to promoting scientific research; something that the institution has been doing for a long time in other environments.

The objective is, as he recalled, "to add and serve as a platform to increase competitive research groups at the provincial level equipped by professionals at these levels of care" which, he insisted, "are essential, as has been demonstrated every day during this pandemic but also beyond it'; professionals who, she has deepened, "need the greatest possible reinforcement of the public".

And precisely this issue, the Covid-19 pandemic, is presented in all the projects that will benefit from this financial support from the Provincial Council, which has been detailed by the person in charge of Health in the provincial institution, who has specified that they will be 11 the research projects that are going to benefit from this new line, receiving between 1.500 and 4.000 euros depending on the score obtained from the rules of the regulatory Call, from which only one of the projects presented has been left out, as it did not have reached the minimum note necessary to obtain the aid.

The beneficiaries

Thus, and in order of score, the Resolution that García Alcaraz has advanced, has been as follows: 71,55 points for the project Research into neuroinflammation and neurodegeneration in patients with post-Covid neurological syndromes, by Tomás Segura Martín, endowed with 4.000 euros grant.

63,80 points for the project for the detection and characterization of spinocerebellar ataxia type 36 in the province of Albacete, by María Esther Simmarro Rueda. Grant of €4.000.

61.55 points for the tornado project has a remote monitoring program in automated peritoneal dialysis. Multicenter longitudinal study, by Agustín Ortega Cerrato, with a grant of 4.000 euros.

54,50 points for the project to study the efficacy of intermittent enteral nutrition for continuous administration in critical patients through the network, by María Dolores Saiz Vinuesa, with a grant of 1.500 euros.

54,25 points for the project to develop its study of the factors that influence healthy aging and its relationship with cognitive deterioration in the rural population, by Luis Antonio Martínez López, with a 1.500-euro grant.
