At the beginning of October 7, Laura Ponte was admitted to the La Paz University Hospital, in Madrid, to end the eye problem she suffered from the junior pass. Her model pierced her cornea and this led to loss of vision in her left eye. Given the seriousness of the matter, she underwent an urgent intervention to alleviate the damage caused and, since then, she has rested as recommended by the surgeons.

One day after the operation, the Galician woman left the hospital and assured the media there that she presented that “I am phenomenal, everything has gone great”. In addition, she has had words of gratitude for the doctors who have carried out the intervention: "The team is charming". Of course, following what is established by the doctors, Ponte must rest and lead a quiet life until she fully recovers.

During these months, Laura has dealt with this problem as normally as possible and inclusion has not hesitated to share snapshots, through social networks, pointing to her left eye. And it is that, positivism, downplaying it and the unconditional support of those close to her have been three essential components that have made the Galician not lose her smile at any time.
