Ninth installment of the 'Campaign Diary' podcast, in which we visit two autonomous communities where it is more than likely that there will be a change of color in the government, according to Víctor Ruiz de Almirón.
In the 2019 elections, the results of the PP were quite bad. For example, for the first time in many years they were not the most voted in Cantabria and they lost the government of La Rioja. With these perspectives, it is easy to intuit that with any slight improvement it will already be possible to speak of victory. Two of the territories to which popular people look with a sweet tooth are Cantabria and La Rioja.
Miguel Ángel Revilla faces his umpteenth election and the prospects are not favorable. He could have to leave the government, which would reach the PP of María José Saenz de Buruaga, either by the hand of Vox, or by the hand of a renewed PRC, without Revilla in between.
For his part, Gonzalo Capellán plans to do the same with Concha Andreu: by collecting the votes of the almost extinct Ciudadanos, he can recover a historic stronghold of the PP.
