The National Police have arrested a 45-year-old man in Valencia for allegedly demanding money from several people while displaying a large knife and carrying a black cat on his shoulders.
At twelve noon on Tuesday, 091 received notice that a woman had just been the victim of an attempted robbery with violence on Brasil street in the Nou Moles neighborhood of Valencia. According to the Headquarters, several citizens had warned of the presence of the suspect in a bar in the area carrying a knife in his hand.
When officers arrived, witnesses pointed to the man as he walked down the sidewalk with a 24-inch-long knife and a black cat on his shoulders.
The police will require them to wear the white armor and they will do so in the most aggressive manner without any prompting unless they eventually scale back.
Moments before, this man had approached a woman on the street, placing the point of the knife in her stomach while demanding that she give him money. The victim modified to run away. The suspect walked into a bar in a highly agitated state as he displayed her knife and claimed that she was "going to lie to her" if no one gave her money. He also showed the knife to a client while demanding that she give him money.
For this reason, he was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of a robbery with violence. The arrested has a dozen records and has already gone to court.
