Mario Sánchez heads the list of the PSOE to the Mayor of Carranque

Mario Sánchez will head the electoral list of the PSOE of Carranque to the Mayor of the town for the next elections on May 28, seeking to continue at the head of the municipality's town hall. In this act of presentation, he was accompanied, in addition to the numbered restaurant that completed the list and numbered the residents, the deputy secretary and spokesperson for the PSOE of the province of Toledo, Esther Padilla, as well as colleagues from nearby municipalities.

Sánchez wants to continue at the head of a Mayor's Office from which he has managed to reduce by two million euros the debt of 14 million left by the previous government team of the Popular Party, affirms the PSOE in a press release. A debt reduction that has been ratified by the Ministry of Finance and Public Function, which shows the good work of Sánchez in the only two years that he has been in charge of the municipal government.

The current mayor recalls the number of innovations that, together with his government team, have been carried out in the municipality: security cameras for the well-being of the population, new facilities in the gym, improvements in the parks and restoration of the Eras square.

It also appreciates the effort that the city council has made to recover the Vault of the Order of San Juan, a historic building with a high heritage value, for which Sánchez has made an effort to preserve it over time and that can be enjoyed the new generations.

In addition to the financial debt, another of Mario Sánchez's projects is to modernize the sports facilities and create a youth center.

The Carranque City Council has had the invaluable support of the Government of Emiliano García-Page, which from the outset supported the construction of the new treatment plant and the commissioning of the water regulator that had not been used for more than ten years. The Executive of Page has also promoted the archaeological park of the town, with an investment of more than a million and a half euros.

From the Toledo Provincial Council, Álvaro Gutiérrez has also worked with regional and local executives for the development of the municipality.

The mayor of Carranque highlights that the good understanding between the three socialist governments has led to the reforms of the main transport routes in Carranque, as well as the recovery of employment planes.
