With the aim of facilitating the incorporation and stimulating the career of those who are starting out in the profession, the Madrid Bar Association launched an ambitious program based on eight main pillars to respond comprehensively to the needs of young lawyers.
To facilitate their first steps in the legal profession to promote the growth of their own firms, the Young Lawyers Action Plan covers a wide number of actions to accompany young lawyers during their first years in professional practice.

Access to the profession
To facilitate their incorporation, the ICAM will eliminate the access fee for young people who enroll in the 6 months following the approval of the Exam for Access to the Legal Profession, as well as for those whose parents have been or are members of the corporation.
Likewise, the College will look after the interests of young lawyers, demanding greater certainty from the Ministry of Justice in relation to the announcement and celebration of the Examination for Access to the profession.
Professional development and training
The anticipated measures to promote the training and professional growth of young people include a personalized mentoring program through which each young lawyer will have professional support to respond to their anxieties and guide their future.
A youth coaching project for young people will also be launched, so that they can share experiences, as well as training programs to promote their professional development and employability.

The seventh pillar contemplated the active involvement of the Madrid corporation in the defense of young workers in the youth legal profession, promoting an agreement that regulates minimum wages and agreed conditions for the dignity of young professionals who work for others.
