I National Congress on Prevention of Digital Fraud and Cybersecurity · Legal News

On June 9, 2022, the XNUMXst National Congress on the Prevention of Digital Fraud and Cybersecurity will take place in Madrid, a unique event organized by the World Compliance Association (WCA) whose objective is to raise awareness about the importance of implementing preventive models against cyberattacks on information systems, as well as reporting the importance of establishing practical measures to protect information security.

Information security is an essential aspect for organizations and is closely linked to the compliance function. In this sense, it must be a commitment of the entire organization with respect to its shareholders and other third parties involved in the safekeeping of information systems. On the other hand, the figure of the CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) interrelates with the people in charge of the negotiation and the head of compliance has a relevant role in decision-making within the organization.

With the participation of professional detachments, in the congress, entities will be sensitized and encouraged to adopt means that contribute to reducing the probability and impact that they may cause. In addition, they obtained training and new ideas for the proper management of security incidents by the intervening agents.

With the Cecabank Auditorium as the stage, the event will feature the participation of experts such as the general director of INCIBE, Rosa Díaz Moles, the president of CyberMadrid, Damián Ruiz, the head of the Cybersecurity Department of the National Cryptologic Center, Javier Candau, the partner director of Galindo Legal, Juan Carlos Galindo, among many others, as well as representatives of leading companies such as Vodafone, Cepsa and Capgemini.
