Neither coach nor players, the agony of the DUX International of Madrid has a month of the start of the League

Less than a month before the start of the league, the participation of DUX Internacional de Madrid in the First Federation remains unknown. Without players and without a coaching staff, the Madrid club is going through a very complicated situation and is looking for an investor to be able to start the season at Riazor against Deportivo, on the last weekend of August. Former sportsman Alfredo Santaelena, who a priori was going to repeat as coach of the Madrid entity, has been pessimistic this dunks at the Radio Galega microphones, although he remains hopeful that the club can start the competition in which it is officially registered .

Alfredo has revealed that the team currently has seven players and that training has not started. "The situation is very complicated. I haven't signed on as a coach yet. I spoke a long time ago that it was going to have continuity, but events have been getting more complicated. There is no coaching staff, there are no players... there is nothing", stated the player from Madrid.

The coach, who last season will adjust to keep DUX Internacional de Madrid in the First Federation, explained that the club needs the help of an investor to be able to go out and compete. In this sense, the journalist Ángel García joined the July final since Stephen Newman, president of the Madrid team, could have found that investor in the Argentine soccer player agent Pablo Ceijas. But the agreement has not been closed and it seems increasingly complicated that it can materialize.

“We are 25 days away from playing and the perspective right now is that there is nothing. The club is waiting for an investor to come in to put up money and have the conditions to face the competition. There are seven players left from last year. The others have left because they have seen that the club does not start. Yesterday he dressed with several of them and recounted the situation he was experiencing. That if they can find another team right now, it is better that they look for it”, Alfredo acknowledged.

Coach

The coach from Madrid has explained that he has a commitment to follow at the club, but the requirements imposed by the RFEF to compete in the First Federation have made it very difficult for him to comply with the entity chaired by Newman. “We are a very humble club and that makes salaries minimal. The one who received the most last year was 25.000 euros gross. This year, with the condition of 16 'P' tokens with a minimum of 20.000 euros, travel, referees, having a natural grass pitch... it's all very difficult”.

The International Doge is correctly registered in the First Federation. In the event that he could not go out to compete in the first two days, he would be relegated, so that his group in the bronze category of Spanish football would be made up of 19 teams.

In case of not finding an investor, the International DUX of Madrid can choose to give up competing, so the Federation has to cover its place before the league.

DUX Internacional de Madrid was part (together with UD San Sebastián de los Reyes, Rayo Majadahonda, Balompédica Linense and Linares Deportivo) of the RFEF First Division Football Clubs Association, an organization that does not have the approval of the RFEF.
